Before you ask
Not at all. Plenty of people start with us having never played Boccia before. We’ll show you how the game works and help you get comfortable at your own pace.
No. We have Boccia balls, ramps and other equipment available at the club, so you can simply come along and have a go.
Boccia is designed to be highly accessible for people with physical disability. Players can throw, roll or use a ramp depending on how they play best.
Definitely not. We’re a social club first. Some members come for fun, friendship and a regular Sunday activity, while others train and compete at state and national level.
Absolutely. New players are welcome to visit, meet the Rebels, watch a session and have a go before deciding whether the club is right for them.
Yes. Families, carers and support workers are very welcome and are an important part of our club community.
